A Magical Encounter with Nature

Monte Selvagem, in Lavre, is much more than a park: it's a 20-hectare ecological reserve where around 300 animals of 70 species, both wild and domestic, live together. Here, in the heart of the Alentejo cork oak forest, you'll discover a world where nature conservation, learning and fun go hand in hand.

This space only houses animals from seizures or surpluses from other parks, promoting a sustainable and responsible model. Along the route - which can be done on foot or on a tractor ride - there are interactive areas for children, rest areas, shade, and experiences designed for the whole family.
